The Woodshed
Small but so very usefulThe Woodshed is a small brick built barn at the entrance to The Cornish Place. Day to day it houses all of our dry firewood for hot tubs, woodburners and fire pits, as well as our microgym. It also doubles as a cute, rustic licensed venue for intimate weddings.
Wood & Wetsuits
A practical place for drying wetsuits and storing the firewood and kindling for your hot tubs, woodburners and fire pits. Just rock up with your wheelbarrow for refills. There’s a tap outside for washing sandy toes, dogs and wetsuits and a rack for dripping them dry.
Weddings
The Woodshed is a licensed wedding venue. With all the gym equipment removed, it is an intimate place for the ultimate rustic wedding. Stunning dressed with swathes of flowers, but equally atmospheric undressed in its rustic simplicity. With its own little courtyard and firepit, it’s perfect for weddings of up to 20 people.
Our microgym, complete with state of the art Peloton bike, weights rack with bench and a rowing machine, is open to all guests over the age of 16. Just book a slot and off you go! A great way to work off all those cream teas and as its away from the cottages you won’t disturb anyone with an early morning workout!
