All of our fields are bordered with Cornish Hedges - these are a traditional dry stone wall filled with earth and topped with native hedges, with the occasional tree such as oak, sycamore or holly dotted around.

They are protected and we only trim ours every 3 years to encourage wildlife. The hedgerows are important habitats and food sources - the berries in Winter are especially loved by mistle thrushes, field fares and blackbirds. We also like to use blackberries for our cakes and jam, and the sloes to make sloe gin!
