When we moved here in 2019 this courtyard was a solid concrete yard with a few uninspiring raised beds. Our pony Molly lived in the building that is now the Stables cottage.

We had to dig up all the concrete to put drainage in, and then asked garden designers to create a low maintenance garden.

We love what has been created and think it gets better every year. It is always full of birds - especially sparrows that love to nest in the fascia boards!

Please help yourself to the apples on the espalier - they are delicious in October and the blossom is so pretty in the Spring.
